To all my dear family, friends and colleagues, it has been 9 months now since my grandfather's death. Yesterday, October 13 marked this, and as such, I was too emotional and sort of on the low in my life to post anything.
If you live long enough, there will come a time in your life when you will experience the loss of someone you dearly love. As a rule of life, it's inevitable, and no one can escape it.
My family and I are very thankful to all of you for your continued support, sympathy, and comforting words of condolence on the death of my grandfather, Emiliano Peralta Canela, affectionately known as Milo to all his family and friends.
At such a time, the love and support of family and friends is absolutely invaluable and priceless. It helps us to heal. And for that loving support, my family and I are forever grateful.
My grandfather meant the world to me. He was and still is an inspiration of strength, honor, prudence, love, bravery, determination, devotion, loyalty and unity for my entire family.
For those of you who have either met or heard stories about my dear late grandfather, then your fond memories of Emilano Peralta Canela (Milo) are greatly appreciated.
Please keep him in your prayers with your own loved ones who have passed. I will do the same for you.
Thank you!
Always be safe and God Bless...
Sincerely and with gratitude,
- Fausto Enrique Abreu and Family
Note: I have a special note dedicated to my Grandfather on Facebook that you can read on my profile.
Emiliano Peralta Canela (Milo): Rest in Peace Grandfather, and May God keep your soul in His Eternal Light and Glory Forever. - Amen
Psalm 23
The Lord Is My Shepherd
A Psalm of David.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil, for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.
